All former JWs can exhale now. Boss Hogg's white Cadillac has been pulled out of Hazzard Creek. Our Dear Leader, James Lloyd Evans has had such an amazing response to his tin cup begging that he can return to activism "for now". His ~~cult followers~~ supporters have saved him from a weekend at home alone.

Patrons are up to 420 now and he had gained roughly 20 or so, plus the direct PayPal infusions. Hope it was all worth it, because that kind of urgent request tends to work only once. I'll file this one next to Oral Roberts telling his sheeple if he doesn't get 4 million dollars God will kill him.

It's funny how he phrases it, "I don't see the channel recovering fast enough without needing to drastically scale down".

This stood out to me too. It's probably the key passage in the entire thread. He needs money now, but he acknowledges that he will be scaling back anyway. The money collected is just to keep him from leaving. Donors are really just funding his attempts to be a player in the Zagreb nightlife. The studio is most certainly gone, Tibor probably as well, and he's just going to cobble together a makeshift studio where he's living. It seems that he already has done that with the last few videos. Wasn't it roughly 6 months ago that he said he signed a lease on the studio space? Lease is up and he expected to be gaining Patrons by this time, not hovering round 400 for the past 2 months.

So he can recover the channel, he just needs to scale down paying Tibor for edits. It seems he has a solution staring him right in the face that doesn't require taking money out of someone else's pocket.
It's simply a matter of having no patience. Grifters gotta grift.

He's just conditioning his donors that his content will be fewer and far between and they won't see the familiar "Ramacro" studio behind him that they paid for. What this does is effectively make all the Patron goals utterly meaningless, as he's already paid at 380 Patrons to travel the world, meet with people for interviews and film what he calls documentaries. Further proof the donations first and foremost fund his lifestyle and the things he actually promised to Patrons are secondary concerns.

His heart is just not into this anymore and he's long since checked out. All it is about now is collecting what he can from this pity performance and plot his next move. I never heard him sound so defeated in that thread. But at 400+ patrons the grift still pays the bills and he's attempting to stem the bleeding and also work a lot less for it.

Then read his Facebook statement. I think you will find that it was actually Lloyd who said he had sex with sex workers in Thailand.

I’ve examined the 3 February FB statement. The relevant portions are 3b and 3c. 3b he relates that his “main reasons” for going to Thailand were really tourism related. If sex tourism were his main reason for going there, he would have gone to Bangkok. The implication is there that sex tourism was a factor in going, but not the main one.

In an attempt to swat away allegations of underage sex workers, he states for the record that all the people he met, “sex workers or otherwise”, they were all in their 20s. Impossible to know for sure, but whatever. Note the use of the plural - sex workers. He “met” more than one.

3c he addresses the notorious pics of him and the Thai girl. He states that she was also in her 20s and NOT a sex worker. So according to his own words, that makes at least 3 local girls he met - at least 2 sex workers and 1 non-sex worker who was sitting on his lap and taking flirty selfies with him.

Now go to the Andrew Gold interview - “I was dating a sex worker”. So there was another woman other than the one in the pics that WAS a sex worker and they were dating. Then there was at least one other sex worker he met but was not dating her.

Now he’s saying that he never paid for sex and only bought dinner for the sex worker he was dating. He has never said anything about the girl in the pic or the other sex workers.

Easiest way to look at this is he’s making shit up to disassociate himself from the Thai sex industry. We are meant to believe that a man who had been seeing sex workers every 2-3 months for 3-4 years was around these women who worked in the sex industry but not at any point paid these women for sex. I believe that in his effort to deflect attention away from the girl in the pics, he lied that she was not a sex worker he was exploiting and in his carelessness casually mentioned other sex workers, just not her. He got caught in his own lie and is doubling down by now claiming he only bought her dinner.

So a little birdy landed on my shoulder today and related an impromptu lunch date she had with a cedar tree from the forum. I’m afraid he’s not doing too well today. He accused this little birdy of being a member of the Silvio Mob! I must confess that I prefer the term “Silvio Crime Family”. It sounds more inclusive… and Italian! I love Pasta Napoletana!

Probably won't. For every newbie who fell for this, there will be a few long-time patrons who were there for his 380 Patron goal that made grandiose promises of "travelling to diverse locations" to film videos and documentaries, organise meetups and promotional events and a TED Talk. None of which he has done last year, even when he had more than 500, 600, 700 Patrons. I would think those people who actually thought they were getting something permanent at 380 are feeling a bit betrayed as he's threatening to scale the channel back even at 30 over that benchmark.

Still, it must be a nice feeling that even when he's short of cash and a week away from payday, all it takes are a series of tweets that all but threaten to ditch the channel altogether to get several hundred dollars' worth of tax-free PayPal infusions.

Even after showing absolutely no remorse for taking a sex holiday on the donors' money, he's still able to summon up some quick cash for doing absolutely nothing more than being a greedy little prick.

O.M.G ! Why did he say PayPal (most urgent) ?

This is because with PayPal he gets the money almost instantly. Patreon pays at the end of the month. This tells me he's blown most of his savings from 2021 as mentioned and what he pulls in now is not enough to live his lifestyle. He's in desperate need of cash right now and can't wait another week.

FYI - his Patrons have spiked to 411 because of this. He knew what he was doing by threatening to shut the studio down and leave. It sparked fear in people who do not know any better that they fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book. Leaving was never his intention at all. He's manipulating people again as evidenced with the replies he has received to those tweets. A handful of people have pledged and a few others have stated they will donate directly by Paypal or up their existing Patreon pledge.

This is quite easily the lowest he's gotten in manipulating people for money.

That being said, this could be about his Mom. Without the other lyrics there is no way to know. The reason I think it could be about his relationship with his mom is the term "misbehave". It's a word we typically associate with childhood etc.

"Misbehave" could be something Dijana picked up in her second language and used it to describe Lloyd when she caught him. Him throwing the word back at her is him pressing his point that his infidelities weren't as huge of a deal as she made it since she was the one from his point of view who drove him away. Every other lyric could be used to describe his feelings growing up as a JW, but the part about "tell me you're like this with every other man" to me is a giveaway that it's not. It's directed towards a romantic partner or interest.

Perhaps the next verse is about his parents and upbringing, which would make "Misbehave" more of an encompassing song about his life.

"We're living, I'm dying" is similar to his comments dating back to when he made the "I'm Taking a Break" video and what he told Kim and PB. That's the first thing I thought of.

So is it confirmed he is separated and when he recently said “getting divorced is the most stressful thing anyone can go through” he was talking from experience?
is it confirmed he lives in a cheap little bedsit he calls a studio (studio flat) about half an hour away from in-laws?

It would seem to point in that direction, but we really don't know. His comments have ranged from a trial separation to talking about the stress of divorce. With the absence of any information from the other party, it's difficult to say with conviction what is actually happening at the moment.

Zagreb is not 30 minutes from the in-laws. Dijana and her parents live in the village of Gornje Komarevo which is 15 minutes south of Sisak, thus even further from Zagreb. In total it's an hour and 11 minutes' drive from the centre of Zagreb to the in-laws.

Edit - I originally posted something else about his living situation, but now it's a bit clearer with Toblerone's screenshots of Lloyd's Twitter posts begging for money. Wow.

There are several giveaways that this is about Dijana. It's not likely to be some kind of allegory about his father or JWs since he's referring to "every other man". "We're living, I'm dying" is a reference to him not being sexually compatible with her and "you've made me misbehave" is him placing the blame squarely upon her shoulders as to how he somehow felt compelled to seek out sex elsewhere.

"You've made me misbehave"?! What is he 12? He's so abusive toward her that he blames her for things he's clearly at fault for.

Here he is a year later still publicly blaming and shaming his wife.

But Deborah Dykstra is (was, she is now deceased) a disgrace to Ray's legacy because she didn't release the Fourth Edition whilst working on the Fifth one as Lloyd demanded. Dykstra gets a "free pass because she isn't Lloyd Evans".

His latest voicemail he says with such intensity “divorce is the most stressful thing any human can go through”

He really said this? I thought people making fun of him on videos and social media was the most stressful, even more so than losing his mother?

Shouldn’t he be suing Dijana then?

It makes no sense to be renting two different places in Zagreb - one to live at and the other to film. If your place is that small then get one with an extra room. There’s a huge detail here that he’s going through great lengths to conceal.
